A Note from the Maker

Hi, I’m Elle—the heart and hands behind Portals Jewels.

My work is shaped by an ancestral lineage of gemologists, storytellers, and craftspeople hailing from Greece, where stone and story have long been intertwined. My maternal surname carries the meaning descendant of the rock—a name that now echoes through my hands as I work. 

Handcrafting each piece in ceremony, I draw on archetypal tarot, symbolism, and Human Design as conduits for listening and translating the wearer’s essence into tangible form.

In our modern world that moves quickly and often trades meaning for trend, I choose the slow, the intentional, the sacred. I believe that jewellery should mirror your essence, not echo the style of the crowd. 

Portals was born from a desire for something deeper: to live as art, to honour the unseen, and to remember that what we adorn ourselves with can be a kind of prayer.
